Tadashi Moriyama (born 1979 Japanese) born and raised in Japan. In 2001, Moriyama moved to the United States, where attended Tyler School of Art (BA 2003) and University of Pennsylvania (MFA 2006) He has exhibited in Japan, Canada, Ireland, Italy, and across the United States.

Moriyama is currently represented by Bonelli Arte Contemporanea (Mantova, Italia) and Johansson Projects (Oakland, California). In addition to his painting, he makes miniature drawings and mixed media animation.

Moriyama resides and works in Brooklyn, New York.
